J.J. Miller, freelance fashion stylist and visionary founder of Kolured Beauty, has spent years uplifting women—helping them refine not only their style, but their sense of self.

Working closely with women of color from all walks of life—professionals, mothers, entrepreneurs, students—she noticed a common thread:
